Rotraut

Rotraut is a 84 years old artist full of life and love, she lives in Arizona. She is very connected with the cosmos and the nature, her art is a reflexion of it. For many years she was making beautiful galaxies and she is now into pastels colors and does shapes that comes from energy and feeling. She loves to put her hands in wet paint like children do. Her work is a little bit like a river, it just flaws. She let her hands go without thinking and everything in her environment appears in her shapes. Rotraut express herself with what ever tools or material is around her. She like to say that “People need art like they need food”.
